Local Ministries are part of your world and my world. We are commanded to be salt & light and to care for those in need. We all commit to pray for the 8-15 people God has placed closest to us whether family, neighbor, work mate or school mate (click on the My World guide on the left to print one for yourself ). Some of us help through the Deacon’s Fund, Food Pantry and a local coalition called TEEG. This is where the world sees Jesus in us.
TEEG is always in need of volunteers and food donations, especially tuna fish and peanut butter. To learn more about TEEG visit their website www.teegonline.org
The Deacon’s Fund collects monies to assist those in difficulty. The brown envelopes in the pew racks are for this purpose. You may place them in the offering plate or the offering boxes.
Caring Continues is a weekly food assistance program. Each week of the school year, over 50 families are served in the Woodstock school system. If you would like to bring a donation or volunteer you can contact Pastor Dave.
